Challenge #4: Holiday Card/Layout/Project

Create a holiday themed card or layout or project. That shouldn’t be hard since we have Halloween, Thanksgiving  and Christmas right around the corner. Do you have Christmas pictures from last year that need to go into a layout? Get it done for this challenge! Make a Christmas wreath or Thanksgiving napkin rings.

Challenge #5:New Technique/Tutorial

This challenge is all about trying something new. Have you seen a new technique on a blog or in a magazine and you have wanted to try it but haven’t taken the time to do so? Today is the day! Try out a new skill, show it to us and tell us all about it!

I tried out a couple of new things! First, I found these neat little templates made by Clover for making flowers. I put a pin on the back and hot glued buttons on the center, for a cute fashion accessory.

On the new "My Craft Channel", the girls on the DIY Dish show made these cute pin cushion mannequins. I made a few to sell at a craft show.

Challenge #1 - Sketches!

Who doesn't love a great sketch??? So I'm giving you lots of options to play with. I'm even throwing in tag sketches because I've been wanting to play with tags for awhile and haven't had the time so I thought this would be perfect.

As you all know I love to create things other then scrapbook pages and cards. I'm always altering something. So I'm challenging you to think outside of the box and to come up with something other then a scrapbook layout or a card. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for this one.

Challenge #5-Try Something New

I love to try new techniques - I even have lots of items sitting around my craft space waiting to be tried out. So try a new-to-you card fold, a stamping technique, coloring medium, tool - anything you've been wanting to try out and haven't. You may go to StampTV, Splitcoast Stampers, YouTube, or even the Cricut MB for inspiration. And if you find something cool - please share it with the rest of us!

Create a LO, card, or altered item using one of the following two color combos -
-Good Ol' Red, White, and Blue
-Tropical colors - i.e. Hot Pink, Lime Green, Bright Orange, Turquoise, Yellow - use any 2,3, or even all 5 colors!
